TERRINGTON HOUSE, CAMBRIDGE

  Side Elevation, Terrington House

The refurbishment of the existing 5-storey office building on Hills Road in Cambridge was carried out in 2003. The client, The Master and Fellows of Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge required the whole building to be refurbished toCorner Aspect, Terrington House modern standards and the works included a new roof level plant room and external works including a new entrance bridge, new electric sub-station and landscaping.

The original early 70’s building was stripped back to its concrete frame and floors including the removal of all existing cladding and windows. The refurbishment works included all new services, external cladding and new aluminium double glazed window units incorporating fixed louver solar control. The new entrance foyer features glazed curtain walling and is accessed via the new bridge.
