The NTN Partnership was selected ahead of five other major cost
consultancies for this prestigious project. The Open University required 3,500
m² of new offices delivered to a fast track programme, planned with
flexibility because of potential future requirements. The project was to be
designed and built within 12 months of the appointment of the architect, Peter
Haddon & Partners. With an overall turnkey value of £9.5 million, the building
has achieved a BREEAM rating of "very good", through the use of a range of
energy efficient features. NTN’s early involvement meant they could
provide considered advice on the best form of contract and procurement method
in view of very tight schedule, whilst still complying with the requirements
of the original OJEC Notice. |
