CASTLE MILL, BERKHAMSTED

Castle Mill viewed from right (across the canal)Rear of buildings - from roadside

In the attractive Hertfordshire country town of Berkhamsted the existing flour mill which stands adjacent to the Grand Union Canal has been redeveloped into residential units.

The sympathetic conversion and alterations of the original building has provided six 2-bed units along with a penthouse suite.  A glazed walkway links the mill to a new 4 storey development with Castle Mill viewed from left (across the canal)undercroft parking.  The design echoes the architectural features of the mill.  This extension accommodates seven residential units as well as another penthouse suite.

The quality of the workmanship, fixtures and fittings are to an extremely high standard.
